EndNote Online - legacy interface (pre EndNote 21)
There are two account levels of EndNote Online:
- Endnote Basic is the free limited online version of EndNote Online software. You can use EndNote Online to create an EndNote library, add and manage references, use Cite While You Write functionality (need to download), create a bibliography, and share groups within your EndNote library with others (attachments are not available).
- EndNote Online full version in addition to the above, allows you to Sync your desktop EndNote library with your EndNote Online library and other computers, and share your entire library with up to 100 people (all users must have the EndNote desktop version and EndNote Online accounts).
Register for EndNote online
- EndNote online is included with the desktop program
- Follow the instructions from Clarivate here to register for an EndNote online account - use your SCU email address.
- Please note, there are deadlines for registering and accessing EndNote online accounts:
EndNote 20 - registration deadline was 1st January 2024
EndNote X9 - registration deadline was December 2023
EndNote X8 - registration deadline was January 2021
