The Australian Guide to Legal Citation, 4th edition (AGLC4) is published by the Melbourne University Law Review Association. It is the updated version of AGLC3. It provides more clarity to rules and includes more citation examples. The AGLC is the referencing style used by Southern Cross University's School of Law & Justice.
This quick guide provides footnote, subsequent references and bibliography examples for selected common references. If you are unable to find an example for a source you want to reference, please check the comprehensive AGLC4 PDF (link available above) as it is the definitive guide for the rules and procedures to follow in referencing sources for law assignments.
