Key points
- The article must be accepted after January 1, 2025
- Authors from participating institutions publishing in most of Elsevier's hybrid and gold journals can can publish open access (OA) without a transactional article processing charge (APC). Please check to ensure that your selected journal is included in the agreement
- Discounts (15% of the APC) exist for some gold open access journals not covered by the article quota - the discount will automatically be presented to authors publishing in eligible titles - consult the list for eligible titles.
- The corresponding author is the eligible author for this agreement, as designated when the publication was submitted, and must use their institutional email address when submitting an article for publication. More information on eligibility is available from the publisher's website
- Some journals charge additional fees such as page and/or colour fees not covered by the APC waiver. Check the journal's submission guidelines for other fees and charges.
