Key points
- The article must be accepted after January 1, 2024
- Authors from participating institutions publishing in Elsevier's hybrid journals can utilize the article processing charge (APC) waiver
- Discounts exist for some gold open access journals not covered by the article quota - the discount will automatically be presented to authors publishing in eligible titles
- The corresponding author is the eligible author for this agreement, as designated when the publication was submitted, and must use their institutional email address when submitting an article for publication
- Some journals charge additional fees such as page and/or colour fees not covered by the APC waiver. Check the journal's submission guidelines for other fees and charges.
