Researcher Essentials

ORCiD

Benefits:
  • ORCID is a central registry for researchers
  • Your unique ORCID identifier can travel with you e.g. if you move to another institution or change your name you don't need another ORCiD (make sure to register with your personal email or include it as an optional email)
  • Enables others to access a record of all your research activities at a single URL
  • Distinguishes you from researchers with the same name
  • Easily control and share your researcher metrics
  • Used by publishers and funding organisations
Connect with your:
  • SCU Profile on Cross Connect
  • Scopus Author ID
  • Web of Science Researcher Profile
  • HeinOnline Author profile (for law & humanities researchers)
Available for:
  • All researchers
