Access ORCiD

Step 1
  • Create your account.
  • Make your profile public
  • Add your research outputs

Link ORCID to your Southern Cross Researcher profile:

  • Sign in to your Southern Cross Researcher Profile
  • Click Edit profile
  • Click Register or Connect your ORCiD iD in the Identifiers section 
    • Note: If you do not see the option to register, then your ORCiD is already connected

  • Add ORCiD to your email signature
  • Link other existing profiles to your ORCiD record
    • Scopus Author ID
    • Web of Science Researcher Profile
  • Do not delete information automatically added to your ORCiD profile from SCU. Information displayed in the 'Source' field is called an assertion and it adds authority to your profile.
  • You can add your own employment information and hide the information from SCU by changing the Visibility Setting to only me.
