Open Resources

In this stage the project team formulates a plan for the open textbook. Project teams will:

1. decide whether to adapt or create an open textbook
2. choose a Creative Commons Licence
3. finalise the open textbook project team including:
   • agree and document expectations with co-authors
   • sign a memorandum of understanding with SCU Library
   • allocate writing and publishing tasks
   • identify peer reviewers
4. identify what publishing support will be needed
5. adopt a style guide
6. participate in Pressbooks training (organised by SCU Library).

SCU Library will provide documentation to assist with these steps.
