Open textbooks through the CAUL OER Collective

SCU Library supports the creation of open textbooks through our participation in the CAUL OER Collective. Through this collective SCU authors can create and publish open textbooks using the Pressbooks platform.

Authors publishing an open textbook at SCU will need to follow the CAUL OER Collective Publishing Workflow, which involves 7 steps:

  1. Initiate
  2. Plan
  3. Draft
  4. Design
  5. Review
  6. Publish
  7. Evaluate.
