AI Key Takeaways

Key Takeaways is a concise summary of your document, extracted directly from the PDF. It provides:

• A brief overview in a short paragraph summarizing the document
• Additional topics highlighting any other topics addressed within the document.
• The takeaways are generated based on the document itself and EndNote does not use any other documents in your library or public large language models (LLMs) for this process.

This feature is available on:

• EndNote 2025 desktop
• EndNote Web (Activated via sync with EndNote 2025)

Find a Journal (FaJ)

This feature of EndNote 2025 uses machine learning to assist in identifying suitable academic journals for your manuscripts. The tool analyzes key components of a paper to recommend relevant journals.

Note: This feature is available only within the Cite While You Write (CWYW) plugin for Google Docs and Microsoft Word Online with the EndNote 2025 activation. It is not supported in the desktop version of the Word CWYW plugin.
