S&P Capital IQ is a powerful database for financial data, analytics, and research. Capital IQ's web-based platform combines in depth information on companies, markets, and people worldwide with robust tools for analysis, idea generation, and workflow management.

S&P Capital IQ requires individuals to create their own user account

1. Open S&P Capital IQ
2. Select ' New User'
3. Enter your SCU email address and select 'submit'
4. You will receive an email  acknowledging you as an SCU student or staff member and a link to the registration page
5. Click on the link to go to the registration page and then fill in your personal information and click 'Register'
6. Do not enter your mobile phone number on the registration page just enter a hyphen -
7. You will receive a second email confirming your account creation and instructions for you to set up your password
