Make an appointment

To request a consultation with a librarian, use the Make an Appointment form below.

Covidence access

The library provides access to a web-based platform called Covidence which is designed specifically for systematic reviews to help you navigate and streamline your review process.  This tool also allows researchers to import references, screen studies, and extract data collaboratively.

Please read first and then follow the steps below to link your Covidence account to SCU’s subscription:

  1. Request an invitation to SCU University's Covidence account by completing the invitation request form using your SCU email address.
  2. You will receive an invitation by email. Click on "join account" in the invitation email.
  3. You will be asked to login to Covidence to accept the invite and you will be a member of the SCU account.

Notes

  • If you don't already have a Covidence account, you will first need to sign up (or, if you have already requested to join the SCU account there will be a link in the invitation email). After signing up, you can then click the "join account" button in the invitation email and you will be prompted to log in to your account (at this point you will be a member of the SCU account).
  • When creating an account, you will also receive a link via email to "confirm" your account. It is highly recommended that you complete this step as it makes password resets and other administration processes and easier process.
  • Please use your SCU email address as your Covidence username
