Know your style

Whilst studying here at SCU you will find referencing styles differ across our many units.

Find out what style your supervisor or lecturer requires you to use. For example, APA 6th, Chicago, or a version of Harvard.

EndNote

Spend some time at the start of your research journey learning how to use EndNote to save considerable time when you are writing your thesis.

EndNote will help you:

  • create citations in a variety of referencing styles
  • store PDFs and other files with your references
  • use the Cite While You Write feature to create and format your reference list or bibliography as you type in Word

Click the logo to open our EndNote page, and download the software. It is available free of charge to SCU students and staff.

Go to the EndNote LibGuide for videos and tutorials about using software.
